The Filberg Festival

The Festival has come and gone and so has the month of July. Wow were we busy! The week-end's festivities went without a hitch, both harbour days and the festival enjoyed great weather and a great turn out. Thank you to all the great musicians and artists that make these events possible it was enjoyed by all my guests this weekend, we had nothing but positive feedback about both events.
Comming up this weekend is the Alpine Wine Festival at Mt. Washington. We have attended this event in the past and thoroughly enjoyed it. They do provide shuttle transportation from Courtenay to the event. At $30.00 per person for great food and many wine tastings it is a great deal as well. Don't forget some bread crumbs to feed the Whiskey Jacks if you go, it is great fun to have them eat right out of your hands when walking the trails.
There a great free concerts in our local parks on the upcomming weekend as well. Comox center mall is bringing buskers in on Saturdays and music in on Sundays. We always find ways to keep our guests entertained.
