What is a bed and breakfast? This is a question often asked by many of my first time guests. It is a private residence offering a room and breakfast for one or several nights. For some guests it may seem odd staying at someone's house rather than an hotel but it does have its advantages. We will cater to your needs, dietary, local information, real estate information, or tourism. Many bed and breakfasts have higher quality rooms, interesting decor, and even gormet breakfasts in many cases. If you are considering bed and breakfasts for the first time it pays to do your research, check for approved accomodations, reviews, and ask your host anything that may be pertinant to your stay.
We have decided to start this blog to keep an update on what is going on at our B&B and what is happening in the Comox Valley. Right now it is raining which means fresh snow adding to the 250cm+ base at Mount Washington. At the Ginger Giraffe we have a nice hot tub for your Apres Ski relaxation.
